- Method
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius Allow turkey to come to room temperature (approx. 30 minutes) Place on rack in a roasting pan Baste turkey with cream and salt flakes
- How long do I cook my turkey for?
- For an un-stuffed turkey & turkey buffe allow approx. 25 minutes per kg For a stuffed turkey allow 35 minutes per kg For a boneless rolled turkey 25-30 minutes per kg
- Oven temperatures vary. You may need to adjust cooking times accordingly. Is my turkey cooked?
- The juices should run clear when you insert a skewer into the thigh. If there is some sign of pink, return to the oven for 10 minutes and check again. Repeat the process until cooked.
