Method
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Allow turkey to come to room temperature (approx. 45 minutes). Place on rack in a roasting pan with 1 cup of water. Baste turkey with cream and salt or olive oil.
How long do I cook my turkey for?
For a boneless rolled turkey breast, allow 25-30 minutes per kg. Cover with foil once the skin is browned to your liking during cooking, if necessary.
Oven temperatures vary. You may need to adjust cooking times accordingly.
Is my turkey cooked?
The juices should run clear when you insert a skewer into the centre. If there is any sign of pink, return the dish to the oven for 10 minutes and check again. Repeat the process until cooked. Allow your turkey to rest for at least 20 minutes before carving.
