Directions
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius Allow chicken to approach to room temperature (approx. 30 minutes) Place on rack in a roasting pan with 1 cup of water Baste chicken with cream and salt or olive oil
- How long do I cook my chicken for?
- For a boneless rolled chicken allow approx. 30 – 35 minutes per kg Cover with foil once skin is browned to your liking during cooking if required
- Oven temperatures vary. You may need to adjust cooking times accordingly. Is my chicken cooked?
- The juices should run clear when you insert a skewer into the center. If there is some sign of pink, return to the oven for 5-10 minutes and check again. Repeat the process until cooked. Allow your chicken to rest for at least 20 minutes before carving.
